Weld Line Maintenance -
Body Panel Assembly
Use dry ice blasting to easily remove excess grease, sludge, sealant and weld slag during preventive maintenance. One of our installations reports that uptime increased from 75% to 90% because intensive cleaning no longer needs to be done when unscheduled maintenance occurs. Electricians and mechanics can now quickly solve problems, rather than spend a disproportionate amount of time cleaning trouble areas. A complete weld station can be dry ice blast cleaned in 25 minutes, rather than the 2 hours it would take with traditional methods.

Paint Shop -
E-Coat Removal & Spray Booth Maintenance
Cold Jet dry ice blasting is replacing hand scraping to remove E-Coat from paint shop rollers, hooks, guiderails, electric motor and reduction gearboxes, perforated shielding and the concrete floor. All E-Coat is removed quickly regardless of thickness or location. In addition to E-Coat applications, spray-booth sensors and floor grates are kept clean and clog-free with regular dry ice blasting.

Casting -
Alloy Wheels, Engine Blocks & Accessories, Cylinder Heads

Cold Jet dry ice blasting is an excellent choice for cleaning metal and plastic core boxes and vents. In pressure Casting/Forging, it removes graphite based lubricants from press tooling. Permanent aluminum molders remove talc or calcium silicate based coatings from tooling in both gravity and low-pressure permanent molding processes, and high-volume gray iron permanent molders dry ice blast clean soot from their molds and vents daily.

General Maintenance
In addition to its use in production, Cold Jet dry ice blasting is an excellent tool for many general maintenance needs including the cleaning of cooling fans and even ceilings, walls and superstructures.
